Taylor Jacobson is the new face of Everyday Minerals
She may be best known for her platinum hair, and sunglasses covering her face, but Taylor Jacobson is going to be showing it off now for Everyday Mineral’s organic line.
The former Rachel Zoe Project stylist will be penning a blog for the make up line that ranges from fashion, to home to food! [See blog here]
“My ‘Love, Taylor’ blog is a way for women to join me on my journey of self-discovery, every step of the way,” says Taylor. “I am really passionate about beauty, and am honored to represent the brand. It’s a place where women can get to know the real me.”
If you were a fan of the RZP on Bravo, you could see that a move was imminent for Taylor. She was clearly NOT HAPPY staying in her role working for Rachel Zoe as an assistant. Now she gets to do more and gets to try her hand on merchandising!

Kate Moss for Longchamp [VIDEO]
Wild child, and supermodel, Kate Moss has moved from in front of the camera to designer! Moss designed a new line for class act leather goods line, Longchamp.
Moss opted to go for a more grown-up style (compared to her Topshop line) offering classic shapes such as satchels and weekend duffels with braided leather piping. But lest the collection be a tad too staid, Moss added a touch of her inner wild child via zebra print linings. [via AOL]
In the video below, Kate brings back the 90s with the heroin chic stare out into nothing look. I guess if you’ve been doing it for this long, you’ve kind of perfected it, no?
Would you buy a bag from Longchamp BECAUSE Kate Moss designed it? Or would it be you’d buy a Longchamp bag, even IF Kate Moss designed it?

Madonna Cried for Dolce & Gabbana
Don’t say Madonna doesn’t give all when she’s working. For Dolce & Gabbana’s 2010 Spring campaign Madonna shed REAL tears for the designers. Stefano Gabbana confirms it!
Wasting no time in stealing her from Louis Vuitton after two seasons of campaigns for that label, Dolce posed her as an Italian housewife for the spring 2010 ads. In one image she appears to be crying after reading a letter from a loved one. “She was really crying!” Gabbana tells W. “It wasn’t fake!” He doesn’t say whether that part where she eats pasta is fake, but explains, “They say there’s a connection between food and sex.”
I love love love this campaign from D&G. They make her just so gorgeous, yet a little messy all at the same time. And the clothes? Yes please

Dree Hemingway for Mango
The celebrity spawn continue to get jobs. This time it’s an Entertainment Dynasty. Dree Hemingway, great-granddaughter of Ernest Hemingway is the third face for Spanish fashion line, Mango’s 2010 Spring line.
Dree Hemingway appears in the catalogue wearing an unbuttoned denim jacket revealing three cross necklaces and just a bit of skin and rolled up shirts. [via WWD]
Hemingway’s ad campaign shows little to no consistency with the two others that were also recently released. (Dree joins Scarlett Johansson, and fellow celebrity offspring Sophie Auster, the daughter of American writer, Paul Auster.)
It does have a late 80s early 90s feel with the coloring and use of crosses and denim, though.
What do you think of Mango’s three ad campaigns? And the use of children of celebrity?

Sophie Auster for MANGO Spring 2010
Joining actress Scarlett Johansson in the Spring 2010 Mango campaign is celebrity spawn and singer/actress/model, Sophie Auster. Her dad is writer Paul Auster.
The shoot took place in the same recording studio once used by Jimi Hendrix and the Rolling Stones. Auster, who appeared in “LuLu on the Bridge,” based on her father’s novel, and “Circuit,” is working on her second album with the group One Ring Zero
I really don’t see how the ads with Scarlett, and these tell the same story. The color palette is so different.

H&M’s “Organic” Cotton Isn’t
Another red check for the economical trend fashion store, H&M. While some shoppers may feel smug that they are buying “organic cotton” clothing, it’s just not as green as they thought.
Apparently some of the cotton they labeled “certified organic” was contaminated with genetically modified cotton from India, the German Financial Times discovered after independent testing. Authorities in India say the fraud is occurring on a “gigantic scale,” and blame organic-certification agencies.
Um, OOPS! If you are going to say you have organic cotton in your clothing, it might behoove you to be sure the cotton is indeed, organic. I’m just sayin’.
This comes on the heels of the story that broke about the retailer shedding and discarding clothing from their stores.
Kardashians to Premier Fashion Line in NYC
Heading straight to the top, the Kardashian sisters, Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney have skipped the whole nameless designer stage. Their line for Bebe will debut in the tents of New York fashion week.
The Kardashian-bebe show will be the kick-off show on Tuesday, February 16 for STYLE360, a 2-day fashion event that will include 10 runway shows from emerging or independent designers.
I hope it’s something interesting.
How much input do you think the threesome had in the designs and construction of the line?

Scarlett Johansson for Mango 2010
Formerly buxom actress, Scarlett Johansson, is the new face and body for clothing line Mango. These new ads show the fashion line’s Spring/Summer 2010 line.
According to Luxuo
The campaign was shot in NYC by photographer Mario Sorrenti and styled by Damián Sánchez, the Creative Director of Mango.
These prints remind me of the Miu Miu ads that Katie Holmes did in 2009. I think it’s the coloring.
Mango is no stranger to celebrity spokesmodels. Mango has done former campaigns with Penelope Cruz and her sister Monica Cruz.
