Michelle Trachtenberg for Coach

Not content to ride out her fame on Gossip Girl, actress Michelle Trachtenberg has branched out. She’s now designing for accessories giant Coach! Coach may be best known for their purses, but Michelle is designing jewelry for it’s younger line, Poppy.

Slated to launch in Spring 2010, Michelle Trachtenberg for Poppy is refined-romantic with attitude, bringing a decidedly punky look to a lush mix of materials and inspirations. Pegged as having a uniquely “Marie Antoinette meets Blondie” quality, the capsule collection fuses Swarovski crystals in light amethyst, black diamond, and clear gemstone colors together with ivory pearls and bold mismatched hardware.  A heart-shaped crest and antique key charms are the centerpieces of this ultra-femme and edgy collection; in essence, Poppy is the key to Michelle’s heart.
