Britney Spears’ Newest Candie’s Ads
Sneak Peek. Candie’s has released the newest ads with Britney Spears! The “Through the lens” motif follows Doll Face* through three different scenarios shot by three different well known photographers. Britney is shot on a motorcycle with zipper jeans and high heals (shot by Terry Richardson), in her dressing room before a show (Mark Seliger), and of course rocking out all on her own (Annie Leibovitz).
[T]he pop star was shot separately by all three photographers on the same day, at the Paramount Studios lot in Hollywood. Each photographer was assigned a separate soundstage and Spears’ first shots of the day came on Richardson’s plain white set. Surprisingly, the two had never met, so they spent the first 10 minutes snapping photos together. Richardson brought a menagerie of animals for Spears to pose with, including a donkey and chickens, but the final shot is of the pop star holding a huge stuffed teddy bear above her head.
Next, Spears visited Leibovitz for what looked at first to be one of her signature portrait sittings. But Spears said she wanted to play around and Leibovitz was game. “It’s a different feeling for an Annie portrait,” said Dari Marder, chief marketing officer of Iconix Brand Group Inc., which owns Candie’s.
Spears ended the day with Seliger, on the most elaborate set of the three, which Marder described as being inspired by “Moulin Rouge.” [via WWD]
If you look close enough to the Marder ad, you can see an homage to Britney’s infamous PINK WIG! At least SOMEONE has a sense of humor.

Tori Spellings New Children’s Book
I’m not sure if this really fits into the whole “Celebs For Sale” category, but Tori Spelling is technically an actress, so her making some money off of her books works for me.
Tori, who has two adult non-fiction best sellers already, sTori Telling and Mommywood, will be releasing her first children’s book September 21.
According to EW.com the book, Presenting… Tallulah, is
the tale of a spunky little girl who is constantly told what not to do: not to wear jeans, not to get dirty. Tallulah, illustrated by Vanessa Brantley Newton
It sounds cute, like your typical children’s book. The art on the cover looks an awful lot like Tori and her late pup Mimi LaRue. Really girly, really cute.
As for why she’s doing a children’s book? (Besides the fact it will sell)
“I love reading to my kids. It’s our special time together,” Spelling said.
All together now, awwww.
I wonder if she will be doing joint presentation of the new book, and her kid’s clothing line Little Maven in September?
